According to our strategic disposition, Chengda has begun to plan, set up and carry out the QHSE management system (Quality, Environment and Occupational Health and Safety combined system) as per GB/T19001:2000, GB/T24001:2004, and GB/T28001:2001 at the headquarter, in each branch office, as well as on each project site since this year.

From Nov. 8 to 10, 2006, a review team sent by Quality Guarantee Center of China Quality Association conducted the first-stage review of the management system of our company. The review result verified that Chengda’s QHSE management system in conformity with GB/T19001: 2000, GB/T24001:2004, GB/T28001: 2001. The review team gave high ratings to Chengda’s operation of QHSE, and its management level as an international engineering corporation as well as its QHSE culture, granting Chengda pass of the first stage review. According to the schedule, the Quality Guarantee Center of China Quality Association is to conduct review in Chengda for QHSE conformity credential in late November.

Chengda’s QHSE management system stresses intrinsic safety, and was widely carried out at the headquarter, project sites as well as turn-key project sites strictly in accordance with the requirements of the standard and Chengda’s management manual. Chengda is taking the international leading companies as its example, specifying responsibility with each division having its sub-goal, trying to raise the QHSE management to a higher level.
