On Oct. 28, Chengda’s President Cao Guang, Vice President Lu Zhengping and Liu Yiheng attended the 2nd Sino-Indonesian Energy Forum in Shanghai.

This forum opened as scheduled according to the consensus reached by the governments of China and Indonesia. High-ranking officials including Indonesian President Susilo, Minister of Energy & Mineral Resources, State Minister for State-owned Company, and Minister of Trade, as well as Chief of Presidential Office and Indonesian Ambassador to China made a special trip to Shanghai to participate this summit. The standing committee of Central Political Bureau of Communist Party and Vice Premier of the State Council Huangju, Director of China Development and Reform Committee Makai, Deputy Director Zhang Guobao, the acting Secretary of Shanghai Municipal Committee and Mayor of Shanghai Hanzheng, as well as 250 representatives of energy ministry and enterprises from the two countries were in the attendance.

During the meeting, the standing committee of Central Political Bureau and Vice Premier of the State Council Huangju and President of the Republic of Indonesia Susilo delivered speech respectively on behalf of their countries.

Meanwhile, Vice President Huangju and President Susilo attended the signing ceremony of Memorandum of Understanding on Cooperation between P.R.C and the Republic of Indonesia in Energy and Mineral Resources Sectors”

At 10:00am Oct. 28, Indonesian President met Chengda’s President Coguang and Vice president Lu Zhengping and Liu Yiheng. During the meeting, President Susilo spoke of positive notes on Chengda’s contributions to Indonesia’s economic construction, especially to its electric power construction, and expressed his support and compliment for the planned new energy and down-stream products.

Among those present at the meeting were the Indonesian State Minister for State-owned Company, Minister of Trade, Presidential Office Chief, Indonesian Ambassador to China, President of National Electric Power Company PLN, Chairman of Chamber of Commerce, long-term Indonesian partner of Chengda Ms. Ganhongying and Mr. Yaxin, as well as Board Chairman of Sichuan Chemical (Group) Stock-controlling Co. Ltd Ren Xiaoshan and President Cai Bingzhong, President of China Chemical Engineering Group Jin Kening and Vice President Guo Yilan.
