On Nov. 27, 2006, the kick-off meeting of 450,000TPY ammonia plant project of Petrochina Tarim Petrochemical Company was officially held at the headquarter of Chengda Engineering Corporation.

This meeting signifies that the Tarim Fertilizer Project has officially entered into engineering design period. This project features the biggest unit capacity so far in inland China. Its putting into service will be of great importance to the implementation of Xinjiang’s strong resources transformation strategy, and to speeding up the new-style industralization process, as well as to the construction of a harmonious society, etc.
