In the morning of April 21st 2006, it was the Grand and Solemn Commencement Ceremony of Myanmar YENI Pulp & Paper Project that being held at the jobsite with thousands of guests from both China and Myanmar attending the ceremony.

Attendees of the Ceremony:

• The Senior Officials of Myanmar (including the committees of State Peace and Development Council): Lt. Gen. Khin Maung Than; Commander of Southern Command Maj-Gen Ko Ko; Minister of Industry; Minister of Power and Energy; Minister of Forestry and so on.
• The Senior Leaders of China: Myanmar Ambassador of China Guang Mu; Consultee of Sichuan Government She Guohua, Sichuan Deputy Director-General of Commerce – Cui Zhaoquan, President of China Construction Bank Sichuan Branch – Zhao Fugao and the relevant leaders of China Bank Sichuan Branch, The Export-Import Bank of China Sichuan Branch;
• Together with the staffs of our company: President Cao Guang, Vice President Sun Zhi and Wang Yunsheng, President Assistant Shen Hongbin as well as Project Manager Yuan Rong and Jobsite Manager Hou Chongyi and so on.

The Commencement Ceremony’s holding is a sign for all-round start-up of the Myanmar YENI project. And it should be considered as the intimation of the Contract Start-up Day for both sides of China & Myanmar.
