CHENGDA’s Engineering Design Contract Signing Ceremony for 500 t/y Solar Grade Polycrystalline Silicon Project of Leshan Yongxiang Resin Co., Ltd had been held at the headquarters of CHENGDA on Feb. 16, 2007. Mr. Liu Hanyuan—President of Tongwei Group Co., Ltd, Mr. Tang Guangyue—President of Juxing Group Co., Ltd, Mr. Cao Guang--the President CHENGDA, as well as Mr. Wang Lubei and Mr. Lu Zheyu—the Vice President of CHENGDA had attended the ceremony.

Both Tongwei Group and Juxing Group are the enterprises started-up by forage production. Leshan Trichlorosilane (or Silicochloroform) Plant, which was jointly invested in by the two groups, has already had its successful test-run since Feb 10,2007, with a Products Precision of 99.45%. Trichlorosilane is the hardcore of the raw materials for Polycrystalline Silicon generation, and the Polycrystalline Silicon is the important raw material for solar panel, semiconductor, etc. The production of Trichlorosilane is the first step for Polycrystalline Silicon Project. The key aim of the two groups within the future years is: build up a Polycrystalline Silicon Base in LeshanCity. At present, the two groups are building up their careers arm in arm in Polycrystalline Silicon Field according to the joint venture -- Leshan Yongxiang Resin Co., Ltd.
