After the final discussion on the Indonesia Power Plant Package, which was held on March 5, 2007 between PLN Indonesia. MIM. QBuild. Sasol.Indonesia and Chengda Engineering Co. Ltd, the leaders of PLN and the Presidents of CHENGDA had finally come to an agreement.

At 7:00 local time of March 12,2007, the ceremony for Indonesian Power Plant Package Contract Signing was held in Bandung, Indonesia. On behalf of CHENGDA, President Cao Guang singed the contract with President Eddie of PLN. After the contract signing, President Cao Guang delivered his speech and expressed appreciation, saying: under the strong supports of both Chinese Government and Indonesian Government, CHENGDA will clasp with all that related, and then made “Labuan 2x300MW Coal-Fired Power Plant “Project to be another high quality project as Cliacap Power Plant.

Labuan Project is a kind of EPC Turn Key Project, which is located 180 km away to the west of Jakarta, with a total investment of US$ 543,000,000. It is the biggest contract in investment of all Power Plant EPC Contracts overseas. And the contract time limit for the First Unit and the Second Unit are 30 months and 33 months.

At the same time, the other three Coal-Fired Power Plant Projects of Indonesian Power Plant Package were also signed on the ceremony. And the related Chinese Companies are: China National Technical Imp& Exp Corp., China National Machinery Industry Corporation and Harbin Power Facilities Co. Ltd.
