On April 21,2007, the Basic Design Review Meeting was hold for Indonesia Labuan 2X300MW Coal-Fired Power Plant Project at the headquarters of CHENGDA in Chengdu. PLN Project Manager Mr. Andi and his nine companions had joint the meeting.

In the morning of April 21, Vice President Mr. Wang Xuanzhou, Mr. Liu Yiheng, Manager Assistant Mr. Shen Hongbin met the guests and attended the meeting; Vice President Mr. Xin Xiaoguang and Chief Engineer Mr. Zhang Hualun of Southwest Electric Power Design Institute (SEPDI) appeared at the meeting as well.

During the Design Review, CHENGDA’s Project Manager Mr. Zhu Yumin expressed the Project Delivery Schedule and introduced the current progress; later on, Mr. Xiong Tao, Design Manager of SEPDI gave a brief introduction on the preparation and progress of the Basic Design.

After the meeting, it is the time for design review. During the review, the client group visited Dongfang Electric Machinery Works and Dongfang Steam Turbine Works and knew more details as well as further arrangement about the Labuan Project from the representatives of Dongfang Electric Group; and they were quite satisfied with the works’ good cooperation and supports.

The Review Meeting had been successfully ended with the client approval. It is not only a sign of project progress, but it is also a sign for detail design’s start-up.
