On April 28, 2007, the Commencement Ceremony was hold at the jobsite for Indonesia Labuan 2X300 MW Coal-Fired Power Plant Project, which is the EPC Project of Chengda Engineering Corp. of China.
Since March 12,2007(the contract signing day), Indonesia Labuan 2X300 MW Coal-Fired Power Plant Project has been greatly supported and has been paid much attention to by all sides.
Leaders of all the concerned had addressed the audience in the ceremony. The leaders are:

Mr. Fang Chenqiu	Minister Counsellor of Economic & Commercial Counsellor’s Office of Embassy of the People's Republic of China in the Republic of Indonesia

Mr. Sugiharto	Minister of Investment & State-Owned Enterprises, Indonesia
Mr. Purnomo Yusgiantoro	Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources, Indonesia

CHENGDA’s local partners-TRUBA, WIKA and PT.SSP; Mr. Yan Zhuolin, Chief of Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation Section of Sichuan Commercial Department of Commerce, P.R.C; as well as the leaders of Dongfang Electric Corp. and the representatives of Southwest Electric Power Design Institute had attended the ceremony.
As to CHENGDA, Vice President Mr. Sun Zhi and Mr. Liu Yiheng; President Assistant Mr. Shen Hongbin as well as Labuan Project Manager Zhu Yumin had also joint the ceremony.
