Engineering Design Contract for 3,400 tpd Methanol Project Has Been Signed Between China BlueChemical Ltd. and CHENGDA
June 9, 2007, China BlueChemical Ltd. has signed ¡°3,400 tpd (or 1,200,000 tpy) Methanol Project Engineering Design Contract ¡± with Chengda Engineering Corp. of China at the headquarters of CHENGDA.
President --Mr. Yang Yexin, Vice President ¨C Mr. Miao Qian and other project leaders of China BlueChemical Ltd. had attended the Signature Ceremony; President ¨C Mr. Cao Guang, Vice President ¨C Mr. Lu Zheyu and Mr. Wang Yunsheng as well as other project staffs of CHENGDA had also presented at the ceremony.
At present, this project is the largest one in China using Natural Gas to generate Methanol; and its technology is from British Licenser ¨C DAVY. CHENGDA takes charge of the Basic Engineering Design, the Detail Engineering Design as well as the Purqument Technical Services.
The Project is located in Dongfang City Hainan Province, with a total investment of over RMB Two Billion; and its construction period is expected within 2.5 years.
