On June 8, 2007, Ms. Chen Juan, secretary-general of China Chamber of Commerce for Import and Export of Machinery and Electronic Products led a Technical Review Panel of seven members had visit CHENGDA for Basic Design Technical Review Meeting of Labuan 2 × 300 MW Coal Fired Power Plant Project.

The other six group members are: Professor Engineer Mr. Du Xingyou, Ex-secretary-general Science & Technology Division of Energy Department; Professor Engineer Mr. Li Zongwen, Ex-General Manager & Project Director of Dongfang Electric Corporation; Ms. Zhou Li, Ex-Deputy General Manager of China National Machinery & Equipment Import & Export Corporation; Mr. Gu Haitao, President of HRB Power Engineering Company Ltd..
During the review meeting, the exports provided valuable suggestions according to CHENGDA’s Project Reports both in written and oral form; CHENGDA’s engineers replied well to these questions.

All the exports agreed to set a high value and full recognition on LABUAN Project. On behalf of the expert group, Secrecy-General Ms. Chen Juan made the final speech. She highly expressed their support to LABUAN Project and their great expectation to the project as well; further more, Ms. Chen Juan delivered their presume upon another CHENGDA’s excellent achievement for LABUAN Project.
Both CHENGDA and Southwest Electric Power Design Institute (SEPDI) had joined the meeting, and the Participants were: CHENGDA’s President - Mr. Cao Guang, Vice President - Mr. Liu Yiheng, President Assistant - Mr. Shen Hongbin, LABUAN Project Manager - Mr. Zhu Yumin, Vice Director of International Trade Division - Ms. Liu Bo; SEPDI ‘s President – Mr. Zhou Daji, Deputy Chief Engineer – Mr. Zhang Hualun, Design Manager – Mr. Xiong Tao.
