The 2008 Global Construction Summit which was co-sponsored by China Commerce Chamber for Overseas Project Contracting and McGraw-Hill Companies of America was held in Beijing from April 10th to 12th. Chen Jian, Vice Minister of Ministry of Commerce, Shao Ning, Deputy Director of State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission and Cheng Hong, Vice Mayor of Beijing City alike were present at the meeting and delivered speeches. At the meeting, the sponsor presented awards to those who have won 2007 Global Top 225 Contractors and Top 200 International Engineering Design Firms in ENR. Chengda Engineering Corporation of China is ranked 43rd place in “ENR Global Top 200 International Engineering Design Firms”, the first place among Chinese companies for 3 successive years since 2005. Vice Chief Economist Chen Runsheng of our company was present at the awarding ceremony and received the award.
