On April 11th, 2008, after the signing ceremony for Phase II Expansion Project of UONG BI Power Station, President Cao Guang, accompanied by Assistant President Shen Hongbin, visited the headquarter of Electricity Vietnam in Hanoi where they met the chairman of the board of directors of the company, Mr. Dao Van Hung and President & CEO Mr. Pham Le Thanh. President Cao Guang expressed gratitude to Chairman Dao Van Hung and President & CEO Pham Le Thanh for their help and support for the successful signing of Phase II Expansion Project of UONG BI Power Station. For the Vietnam part, they said that they acknowledged Chengda’s achievements in the field of general contracting of power stations, and hoped Chengda would participate in the construction of power station projects of Electricity Vietnam more actively. President Cao Guang pledged that Chengda will complete UONG BI Power Station Phase II Expansion Project in high quality and on schedule and will actively participate in the construction of power station projects of Electricity Vietnam.
