At 6 o’clock April 26, 2008, after 20-odd days of navigation started from Egypt, the LNG vessel by the name of SERI ALAM carrying 140,000 m3 liquefied natural gasarrived at Putian, Fujian, and moored at the special jetty at LNG terminal at 11 o’clock ready for unloading. Fujian LNG Storage Tank/Terminal Project is jointly undertaken by CBI (Europe) and Chengda. From the official commencement on April 15, 2005, the Project took 3 years until unloading the first LNG shipment. The unloading of the first shipment of LNG is an important milestone for this Project, symbolizing gas-receiving part of the Project has gone from construction and installation adjustment phase into production adjustment phase.
